Magist Open Data Corpus: License

This archive is a snapshot of the Magist published data corpus
(6341 files) as of 2026-09.

You are free to share and adapt this corpus, including commercially,
provided you give appropriate credit to Magist, link to
https://magist.io (or the specific Magist URL for the content you
used), and indicate if changes were made. If you remix, transform, or
build upon this corpus, you must distribute your contributions under
the same license (CC BY-SA 4.0). Where individual entries identify a
named practitioner (for example, "humanReviewedBy"),
attribution must preserve that identification. You may not suggest that
Magist or the named practitioner endorses you or your use.

Each file carries a "_meta" provenance block (inline for per-entity
record files; in a co-located "<name>._meta.json" sidecar for arrays,
manifests, key-maps, and JSON-Schema files) declaring the license, the
review status, and (where applicable) the reviewing practitioner.

Not covered by this grant: Magist platform code, trademark and
brand, org-scoped customer data, AI-generated outputs, and unpublished
pre-publication drafts (the /admin/cw-review queue under cw-drafts/ and
the bulk-publish staging under drafts/, both excluded from this archive).
See https://magist.io/data and the LICENSE-DATA.md declaration for the
full scope, carve-outs, and practitioner-attribution terms.

Corrections and supersession: this archive is an immutable snapshot and
may contain entries that were corrected, retracted, or superseded after
it was captured. The living record of corrections is
https://magist.io/corrections; substantive content changes are
enumerated in data/data-versions.json (in this archive) and in the
change feed at https://magist.io/data/changelog.rss. Before relying on
a fact read from an old snapshot, check it against the live corpus or
the corrections page.
